Food Pantry
Once a week or so, the Bar Harbor Food Pantry gets a shipment of food from the Bangor area. The truck that delivers this food is too large to maneuver in the tight confines of the food pantry itself, so the food is delivered to the local Shop and Save supermarket.
Rotarians meet at the supermarket with pick up trucks if they have them, or just willing hands if they do not. In less than an hour, the truckload of food is moved to the food pantry and stacked on their shelves.
